Lent is a season of 40 days, not counting Sundays, this year beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 5th and ending on Holy Saturday, April 19th. Christ UMC is offering a Lent Calendar 2014 which contains many ideas and activities that you can apply in your daily life. This is a wonderful opportunity to both RENOUNCE what is not necessary in our lives and to do something different each day, based on that week’s focus: RENOUNCE, RENEW, REFRESH, REJOICE, REAFFIRM, RESET, so that our Christ Church family can celebrate the RESURRECTION on Easter full of joy, and begin again our life journey with Jesus and others.
