Last weekend’s snowstorm and dropping temperatures certainly reminds us that winter is fast upon us here in Northern Illinois. Last weekend’s snowstorm and dropping temperatures are certain reminders that the full affects of winter will soon be upon us here in Northern Illinois. As our weather brings not only the beautiful white snow, but also the colder temperatures of winter, let’s remember that there are many in our community who are less fortunate than ourselves as they try to stay warm in these colder months of the year. Won’t you help our brothers and sisters at PADS, and Each One, Reach One through our Warm Ministry program by donating needed items for this important ministry? Our collection for the “Warm Ministry” will go throughout winter, and includes the following items: NEW coats, hats, gloves, long underwear & shirts, hot hand & foot inserts. We’re also collecting hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, tooth brushes & tooth paste, and laundry soap. You can place your donations in the big silver collection box by the sanctuary doors.
