“Thank You” for your response to the Warm Ministry! Your generosity helped your Mission Team brings a bountiful amount of Warmth to the homeless who are served by the McHenry County PADS Homeless Shelter, and ALL-winter-season-long Kim Aupperle delivered your winter gear, detergent & hygiene donations to PADS. Because PADS received bountiful amounts of blankets, coats, hats, & gloves, they’re well stocked with most of these items. Now the Warm Ministries will continue to accept financial donations to purchase additional hand & feet warming pads, and laundry detergent, as well as donated hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, & shampoo. However, NO coats, body soap or clothing are needed at this time. [Financial donations can be placed in the collection plate on Sunday morning, but be sure to either put it in an envelope marked “PADS shelter”, or write “PADS shelter” in the memo section of your check. Monetary donations are tax-free donations that will be applied to your church account.] Contact Kim if you have any questions.
Remember that as winter comes to a close, stores will be pricing their winter gear exceptionally low SO BUY at these low prices for the following winter season…shop smart ~ bless more! Thank you for your response and generosity bringing hope to those in need. God bless your hearts!
In Christ, Your Mission Team
