All women are invited to the Elgin District s United Methodist Women’s Day of Spiritual Renewal on Saturday, April 13th at First UMC in Crystal Lake. “Created for Happiness” will begin at 8:30am with a light breakfast and will conclude at 2:30pm lunch is included). The program will be presented by Rev. Julie Bunt, Pastor of Embury UMC and Trinity UMC, both located in Freeport. People want to be happy. Nothing could be more obvious, and yet this common goal seems impossible to attain. This study explores our yearning to be happy and what our culture and ultimately God has to say about happiness. All women are welcome to attend whether or not you belong to a UMW unit, or a United Methodist Church; and bring a friend, too!
