Bakers Needed: All of God’s children have talents. Some of us are good at eating; some of us are good at baking; some of us are good at selling. All of God’s children are welcome at CUMC. Some of God’s children live in regions where malaria is still an issue, and helping save their lives is an important way of showing we love these children. For $100 a person, it is possible to save a life from malaria. On September 25, the first Sunday of autumn, the Mission Team will be holding a Bake Sale after the worship service. We encourage all experienced bakers and beginning bakers to stock-up on baking supplies and prepare treats for September 25th. All of the proceeds from the Bake Sale will support Imagine No Malaria. If you are going to be out of town on September 25th, you can prepare something which can be frozen. You can even place an order in advance, and we’ll freeze your selection (watch for further details). We don’t want you to miss out on these treats just because you’re out of town.
