The Lake-in-the-Hills Summer Sunset Festival is just around the corner! We have several openings for volunteers to help the children make crafts at the Kids’ Kraft Table on Saturday and Sunday afternoon (all craft materials will be provided). If you can offer your time to help our young visitors, please see the sign-up sheet by Pastor Ron’s office.
REMINDER for all small groups and teams: If you’d like to get the word out about your group’s ministry or event team’s upcoming event/s, we’ll be handing out CUMC reusable promotional bags and we want to include your information in them.
If you want the church office to print your insert, send a ready-to-print file in PDF format to the church office no later than Sunday, August 28th (email to christumcalgonquin@gmail.com). Once your insert is printed you may be asked to “fold it” (if needed) if the office is unable to get them folded before they are put into the promotional bags. Please note: one side of your insert will be printed in black and white, and the other side may be printed in color providing that it is VERY COLORFUL (and not just a logo, background, or emphasized text). So if you want your insert printed in color, please be sure that the color side is true “eye candy”!
If you already have printed copies of your group or even team’s flier or brochure, please bring 50 copies to church and place them in the box marked “LITH FESTIVAL” in the Data Center (the room across from the women’s bathroom near Pastor Ron’s office). Place your inserts in the box by September 1st.
If you can help assemble the promotional bags, please come to church Friday evening (9/02) at 6:30pm.
