The NIC Spiritual Formation Committee will be offering the class series “Nurturing Spiritual Formation in the Local Church” in the Elgin District this fall. This is a wonderful opportunity for laity who are leaders in their church communities to improve their skills in facilitating small groups and also increase their engagement with spiritual practices. The monthly class sessions will be held at First UMC, 1903 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004, in September, October and November. The cost for the entire series is $100 per participant.
