When I take a photo, there is always one thing that I have to be certain of, and that is which lens do I want to use.  Actually I don’t have many choices—either a Zoom lens or a prime lens (50mm f1.8). When using the Zoom lens, the camera body is somewhat heavy but it’s convenient to take a photo from wherever I am even at a distance. A prime lens with the camera body is light weight, but I have to move around to take a photo within the frame that I want. Each of these options gives quite a different perspective when I take a photo. In life, I find that I often encounter a moment of searching for another perspective. Getting away from a particular situation doesn’t resolve the issue, but it may be helpful at least for a while. Usually talking with people outside of the situation, or perhaps with different backgrounds can provide a new perspective. As a Korean American pastor, I always want to be used as a tool to provide a “different lens” to bring a whole different perspective. I pray that it is Peace to somebody.
