While driving my car this morning, I suddenly felt my heart beating faster when I saw a lady who was biking. Certainly I discovered a sense of hope as I pictured myself riding a bike again this coming spring. My folding bike is one of my traveling companions. This morning’s experience reminded me of becoming a traveling companion like that. I then remembered my traveling companion whom I found last Sunday and made time to pray for that person. Yes, those whom we travel with on life’s journey can make good times better and hard times less difficult. If you don’t have a traveling companion yet, pray about it and ask that you find one. Just do it. So both of you can pray for each other daily during this journey to discover Hope in Lent. And weekly you can send an email or card to encourage each other. We will see how God leads our lives together.
