On Easter Sunday we had a death on stage.  During practice, prior to the service, the “Clav” died.   After 20 years of faithful service the Clav was gone.  Given its age, it was not possible find the parts needed for repairs.
However, the following week there was a resurrection and a blessing.  Peggy and Enrico found a new electronic piano for us.  That is the resurrection.  Now for the blessing: The music store was willing let us use the new unit until we raise the funds to pay for it.
The total cost for the new electronic piano is $1934.  We have already received about $1300 in donations.   We still need about $600 more.  If you feel called to donate please make your check out to CUMC and note on the check it is for the “Keyboard Fund”.  Thank you very much to those who have already donated.
I’m constantly reminded of how God always provides what you need.
