Culver’s donates a percentage of the gross receipts from 4-8 p.m. when we work as wait staff. They have a sliding scale: the greater the receipts the higher the percentage of earnings. During previous years we’ve earned 10% of what was sold during the four hours that we worked. This year we earned 15%. Culver’s will be giving us a check for over $600, and previously they have given us over $300. In addition, we earned tip money. Thanks to you and what you did, our earnings totaled over $800.
The Mission Team appreciates the way you supported this project. If you waited tables, thank you. If you greeted customers, thank you. If you talked to your neighbors, thank you. If you corralled your family and came to the restaurant, thank you. If you bought frozen custard for your freezer, thank you. And, if you were out of town and prayed for our success, thank you.
The next Culver’s fundraiser is Monday, July 23rd. Mark it on your calendar. Please plan to help us in all the ways that you are able.
Money from the Culver’s fundraisers are pooled with other Mission fundraisers. In the fall the Mission Team will meet and determine how the money will be allocated. If you would like to be part of the Mission Team, please contact either Bonnie Dodge or Maylo Hranac. And, please consider taking on a two-hour shift on Monday evening, July 23rd.
