Christ United Methodist Church’s Youth Group has volunteered for a one-of-a-kind experience that will impact hundreds of children by committing to serve at a two-hour packing session at Feed My Starving Children on Thursday, June 21st. (The session is scheduled from 12pm until 2pm.) This service event is open to confirmands, and both current and incoming youth. After our session, we’ll head over to The Main Event in Hoffman Estates. Parents can either drop off youth at church (exact drop off time has yet to be determined), or Lisa Greenwood or Daisy Santoso can pickup and drop off youth from/to their home (pick up times will be determined by how many need to be picked up). Anyone carpooling will need to leave Algonquin by 11:15am at the latest. And we’ll be leaving The Main Event around 4pm. If you have questions, contact either Lisa Greenwood or Daisy Santoso.
