Wow, once again we appreciate your generosity.  Your church mission team appreciates the many ways you support our church mission projects.   In May we asked you to give a monetary donation for the Global Migration Fund, a project selected by our bishop for a special campaign.   The bishop set a goal of $200 per church; you came through with $255.60.   We are part of the Elgin District, Northern Illinois Conference.   The Elgin District really came through, giving more per capita than any other district.

There was a total of $73,339 given by the entire conference to the Global Migration.  Twenty-five percent of this money will remain in northern Illinois and be given by the United Methodist Conference to migration issues in this area.   The other 75% will be given to the Global Migration (Advance) fund and administered by United Methodist Missions throughout the world.
Yes, we do appreciate what you do.  We appreciate you working at Culver’s, purchasing food for the food pantry, filling our donation jars, writing checks, reading our material, and telling your friends about those in need.   We’ve posted thank you letters and results of different projects on the bulletin board.   Please check the Mission’s board—the one farthest to the left as you face the bulletin boards in the hallway near the pastor’s office.
