Pastor Ron will deliver a “Sermon on a Mount” at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 26th, on our church lawn! The public is invited to this outdoor service which celebrates the history of the horseback preachers, particularly the Methodist Circuit Riders, who brought Christianity to the settlers of America’s frontier. The message will focus on making peace with the diversity of God’s world, in society and in nature.
Pastor Ron says “I have done this dramatic recreation at many churches over my four decades in ministry, and I’m excited to take one last ride before retiring at the end of this year.”
Our all-church picnic and outdoor games will follow the service, so be sure to invite your friends and neighbors.
