This Sunday we worship the old fashioned way: Outdoors, with no PowerPoint, no Hymnal. And so …. We will be singing a number of your highly requested favorite hymns.
Children and youth are especially invited. Our Circuit Rider brings materials in saddlebags to help kick off a new fall season of Confirmation Class.
Besides our special equine guest, “Dippin Dots” from Woodstock Equestrian, we will welcome some other very special guests: United Methodist Evangelist Kent Svendsen and his wife Paula are driving up from Ottawa to bring their special music and their special zeal and knowledge of old time camp meetings.
Shelley Ancheta from Stretch-n-Grow brings her Cow Girl hand puppet for children’s time – and will provide the water games afterwards.
Those of us who get the Daily Herald or Northwest Herald will notice the publicity for this Sunday’s special Circuit Rider services with Picnic and Games. You can click here to see the announcements.

The main dish is provided for the picnic, and you might want to bring a dish to pass. There will be limited tent space for shade, so you may want to bring a sun hat or beach umbrella, as well as your own comfy lawn chair. We recommend you bring your own silverware and dishes to cut down on our use of environmentally unfriendly plastics.
Please note: since the picnic will begin immediately following worship, there will be NO Fellowship Time after the service.
