A final opportunity to attend a General/Jurisdictional Delegation listening and conversation session will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 in the Elgin and Aurora Districts. The first will be held at 9am at Barrington UMC and the second will be at 1pm at Bethany of Fox Valley in Aurora. Click for details.
The delegation has been outlining three plans from the Commission on a Way Forward and the Simple Plan from the UM Queer Clergy Caucus before opening it up to Q & A. The delegation will be voting on the legislation at the February 2019 Special Session of General Conference in St. Louis.
The United Methodist Judicial Council’s is currently meeting through Oct. 26 meeting in Zurich to on the validity of the plans. Click here to read more.
