The Mission Team “Thanks each of you” for your support in 2018. You supported our Mardi-Gras Bake Sale. You supported our two Culver’s fundraisers. You attended the Christmas Eve service and a portion of your offering went to local missions. You may have brought your church bulletin to Culver’s on Sunday or Wednesday (so we could get a percentage of your purchase.) You supported our food pantry collections, the Bishop’s Appeal, you helped us collect items for the Midwest Mission, and you helped pack food for Feed My Starving Children.
We could not have done all these things without your support. Many of you even found a way to support our projects when you were out of town. Thanks!
We are thanking you this Sunday with a Thank You cake. We hope you attend worship and stay for our fellowship “thank you” and then our meeting. We’ve heard it will be cold on Sunday. Think of the cold temperatures as God’s way of reminding us what homeless people have to deal with for several months each winter.
The Mission Team will be having a planning meeting for 2019 projects after worship. We will start about 11:30. Everyone, including youth, is welcome at the mission team meeting. Please come as a visitor, come as a potential member, or come as an experienced member.
