Ash Wednesday is an ancient church tradition setting aside 40 days before Easter (not counting Sundays) to prepare ourselves spiritually to observe and benefit from Christ’s suffering, death and Resurrection. This year Ash Wednesday falls on March 6th. As we begin the Season of Lent, we invite you to Christ United Methodist Church on Ash Wednesday at 7:00 pm for a Service of Worship that will include the imposition of ashes.
