We want to thank each of you for your support for Mission events in April and May.
Our Culver’s fundraiser was a success. The amount we earn at Culver’s is based on the total sales between 4-8 pm. The percentage we earn is a sliding scale – from five to twenty percent based on the amount of sales during that time period. Thank you for attending and helping us earn ten percent. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for serving. Thank you for cleaning tables. Thank you for greeting those who came and welcoming them. Thank you for tipping. Thank you for inviting your friends. We received tips of $237.86 and $342.98 from Culver’s, a total of $580.84.
On May 5th we held a bake sale after worship. We thank you for however you helped. Some baked; some worked; some purchased…a few did all three. That day we earned $361.50, and then during the next few weeks we received an additional $40. In total we made $401.50.
Be sure you mark Monday, July 22 on your calendar. We have another FUNdraiser at Culver’s. The money we earn at these FUNdraisers become one “fund” and are distributed to missions in our community and to disaster relief in the United States. We distribute the money at the end of the year. We will be asking for volunteers for the July fundraiser soon. Please consider helping. Our work shifts are two-hours, but if you only can work for a shorter time, please let Bonnie know. We welcome your help, and we will make an adjustment.
