How can we give anything less than our best gifts to the one who has given his life for us? Because of Mary’s love for Jesus, she took a costly perfume and anointed Jesus’ feet. That was her way of worship and sacrifice. If we do the same thing (love Jesus more), we, too, may leave a legacy in our families, in our church, in this world, and in our history.
