Brighten a Child’s Day!
On Monday August 12th, 1:30 – 3 p.m. the Praying Stitchers will be sewing whimsical, fun pillowcases for Ryan’s Case for Smiles.
Everyone is Welcome! No Experience necessary! Drop-in! It takes just 15-20 minutes of sewing to brighten a child’s day. The fabric will be pre-cut, sewing machines and notions will be provided. Choose fabrics from Mermaids, Dinosaurs, Sports and more.
The RCFS Western Suburbs Chapter delivers 74 pillowcases each month. They are delivered to Lurie at Northwestern Medicine in Huntley, to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, and to St Alexius Women & Children’s Hospital in Hoffman Estates.
