We at Christ UMC know the importance of a strong church community and how good it is to provide spiritual care for each other. Seven of our youth began their confirmation classes, continuing the spiritual journey started at their baptism. Please check out the “Confirmation” care board in the lobby and consider adding words of encouragement, prayers, thoughts, scripture verses…to nurture the confirmands as well as their parents who are seeing their children grow up and the mentors helping the youth navigate the difficult faith questions. Feel free to use the “leaf” cutouts or your own materials and place your encouragements in the envelopes by their names. And please visit the board again and again until they are confirmed in November.
