Are you willing to take a step to help fight hunger? Be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s Cardunal CROPWALK on Sunday, October 20thstarting at The Congregational Church, 109 Washington Street in Algonquin. Check-In: 1:00pm, Step-Off After Prayer at 1:30pm. Here’s the link to get involved, whether you are going to join us for the walk, support the walkers with a donation, or offer prayers for our walkers and for all who hunger in this world. Your support and participation makes a difference in the lives of so many, both locally and internationally. You can also see the sign-up sheets on the Mission Team’s bulletin board to “sign up” to WALK / DONATE / PRAY.
How does this important ministry make a difference in our community and in the world? Church World Services will divide donations as follows: 25% of the monies donated will stay in our local communities, while 75% will support Worldwide Natural Disaster Fund.
