Ten Thousand Villages located at 719 Main Street in Evanston will be supporting the “Imagine No Malaria” initiative of the Northern Illinois Conference. On Friday, November 15th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm a portion of the proceeds of their sales will go towards this extraordinary effort to end death and suffering caused by malaria. Every item purchased at Ten Thousand Villages helps provide vital, fair income to artisans and their families. Artisans are better able to improve their homes, educate their children and put food on the table – and to live healthier lives of dignity.
