In our culture the Christmas season is often associated with a fast paced sense of hurry. Inevitably, we will feel the tension of impatient shoppers and hectic schedules. But as Christian’s, we embrace Advent as a counter-cultural act of intentional patience. We wait. We hope because God is near. So let us serve together in God’s world and live in the light of God’s love.
