“Shawls … made for centuries universal and embracing, symbolic of an inclusive, unconditionally loving, God. They wrap, enfold, comfort, cover, give solace, mother, hug, shelter and beautify. Those who have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed, as if given wings to fly above their troubles…” Written in 1998 by: Janet Severi Bristow
The Prayer Shawl Ministry group is looking for people who like to crochet, knit, or do needlepoint. If you don’t know how to do any of these needlework skills, we would be happy to teach you–all are welcome! We usually meet at church on the 2nd Monday of the month. Won’t you plan on joining us at our next meeting on September 8th at 1:00 pm?
