The Huntley Police Department, in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and other law enforcement agencies across the United States, will participate in a program to collect expired and unused prescription medications this Saturday, September 27th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in front of the Huntley Police Department located at 10911 Main Street in Huntley. Anyone interested in disposing of such medications, may pull up to the front of the Municipal Complex and dispose of medications, into containers, monitored by a Huntley Police Officer. Liquids and syringes are unable to be accepted. Received medications are then sealed in containers and transported to collections sites for destruction by the DEA.
