If you missed the announcement in church last Sunday for families with children currently enrolled in kindergarten through 5th grade (AKA our “Explorers”), we’re doing something different this year as we welcome all to Journeyland: a place where family worship and spiritual growth is a journey experienced together! The first Sunday each month is now designated as “Family Worship Sunday” when the whole family is invited to participate in worship together, and our Explorers will remain in Worship with their parents after Children’s Time. Then, on the remaining Sundays each month our Explorers will head off to “Journeyland” right after the Children’s Time in the sanctuary, as they take a journey through God’s Kingdom learning about the most important compass in their lives, Jesus Christ, and how to be faithful disciples through their life journey.
